Our mission is to provide our clients with innovative tools and client support for managing the transformation of energy and power systems.

History

ProsumerGrid, Inc. is an award winning early stage company with its roots and origins from the Georgia Institute of Technology. The Company was created after three of the principals participated in the National Science Foundation’s I-Corps program, where they discovered the need for next generation planning tools for massive amounts of resources at various levels of the grid.

ProsumerGrid has been the winner of several completions: the ACC Clean Energy Business Plan, the Southeast Region Clean Tech Open, an Awardee of the New York State 76West Clean Energy Competition and a DOE, ARPA-Energy Research Development Grant.

In 2016 ProsumerGrid was awarded an ARPA-E grant for the development of the Distribution System Operator simulation product. That project included the participation of Southern California Edison, the New York State Smart Grid Consortium, National Rural Electric Cooperative Association and Newport Consulting.

The Grid+DER Planning Studio is a simulation and optimization planning tool that has been successfully used for complex studies for grid redesign, hosting capacity, energy scheduling, microgrid and DER implementations.
